Under 8's v Mona Vale Mavericks
Posted by: PSH
Nothing like a wet ball game... With sunny skies all week and the ground open for the weekend the clouds decided to come in and have a little fun!!! There's not many chances these days that we get to play sport in the rain but boy did the kids have fun... Not so much the parents but the fun was def had by the kids!!! I don't know who was muddier after the game... Mark Viduka or Lucas Neill... The washing machine at the Viduka and Neill households will be going into overdrive!!! Our goal keeper for the game Tim could barely get his footing in when he was going for a dive to save the ball but he did a great job of it... Craig Johnston scored our only goal for the game and it took quite a bit of time to realise who scored the goal as everyone looked the same out there!!! A big thank you to the parents for bringing your kids out to the game in such horrible conditions but the kids absolutely loved every minute of it... Game ball went to Steve Corica who did not stop running all over the place and set up Craig's goal very nicely before half time!!! Fun is the name of the game boys and I hope to see everyone a lot cleaner next week... Thx Coach Kewell...
U16's clash against Londonderry Lions

Windsor Scorpions 28 Londonderry Lions 22... Congratulations girls on our first win for the season!!! The win is even more impressive given the the Lions were Grand Finalists last year... Vicki Wilson continues her good conversion rate netting 12 goals from 18 attempts!!! Liz Watson led on the defensive end with 15 offensive rebounds... Also lending a huge hand in the defensive area was Anna Harrison who scooped up 5 intercepts... An absolute weapon in the centre court!!! Shamera Sterling was everywhere on the stat board with 8 goals and 13 defensive rebounds... Katrina Rore and Isla Porter fed our attackers well with both getting 6 goal assists each!!! Phenomenal effort Ladies and don't forget before next weeks game against the Rams we have team photos... Enjoy your week everyone!!!
Under 12's against Taren Point Magic
Posted by: PSH
With Coach O'Neill not being able to make the game due to personal reasons, he'll pleased when he returns on practice on Wednesday to learn how well we played and that we almost came out with a victory!!! The Magic beating us by four points 36-32... Steven Adams claimed his first double double of the season... 11 points and 12 rebounds!!! Rounding out the scoring is Larnard Copeland and Mark Bradtke with 9 points each and Luc Longley with 7 points... Joe Ingles dished out a career high 4 assists and Chris Anstey grabbed 5 boards!!! All round effort boys but we missed a few tough shots down the stretch and had we made some of those we could have come away winners... But unfortunately thats how the cookie crumbles!!! A huge thank you to Chris's mum, Sandra for stepping in to the coach's position for the game... Very much appreciated!!!
Under 13's Big win against the Bulls
Posted by: PSH
Big win for the Under 13's this weekend against the Mighty Bulls team... 32-12 the final score!!! Terrific performance from Shaun Johnson who led from the front in his first game as captain... Backed up big time from the local tackling machine Bradley Clyde!!! If we kept stats on tackles young Brad would have easily cracked the 20 tackle mark for the game... Awesome effort and it goes a long way in helping the team win!!! Both Sam Burgess and Brett Kenny scored two tries apiece with Billy Slater scoring a try as well as kicking six goals... Three of them from the sideline in a great display of goal kicking!!! In his first game for the team Rueben Wiki had a solid start to his season... Ran the ball with great gusto providing valuable metres and committed no turnovers!!! With an outstanding performance Rueben won the players man of the match... Awesome stuff champ!!! Huge win fellas and it cements third place on the ladder... Train hard during the week fellas and good luck for the next game!!!

Planet Sports Hub was at Cricket Central for the WNCL match between NSW and SA... New South Wales came away victors in a somewhat close game of cricket!!! Can't wait for the construction efforts at the ground to finish as to open up the ground in order to get another look at it from different vantage points around the venue... Has all the hallmarks of being a world class set up!!!
